Evergreen

Maureen "Maury" Robinson, a talented designer, enjoys an extraordinary life in the bustling city of New York. She works for a renowned fashion label, resides in a delightful studio apartment, and cherishes the company of amazing friends. The only aspect lacking in her life is her on and off relationship with male model Tom, which leaves much to be desired. However, aside from this minor flaw, her life seems practically perfect.

Unfortunately, everything changes abruptly when her father experiences a traumatic brain injury, leaving him with limited mobility and incapable of caring for himself. To provide him with the necessary support, Maury makes the difficult decision to leave behind her glamorous New York existence and relocate to the family vacation home in the peaceful town of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Isolated and alone in an unfamiliar environment without a local support system, Maury struggles to adapt. However, her circumstances take a positive turn when she crosses paths with a friendly drag queen who warmly embraces her into their social circle. Additionally, she meets Javi, a junior partner at her father's law firm, who also becomes an important part of her life.

As her friendships with both the drag queen and Javi flourish, Maury finds herself torn. She grapples with her growing attraction towards Javi, her guilt surrounding her father's condition, and her feelings of unworthiness of love. Despite these internal struggles, Maury's journey in the town of Rehoboth Beach teaches her the importance of a chosen family, the art of letting go, and the beauty of falling in love.

"Evergreen" depicts a tale of discovering and embracing a newfound family, accepting the need to release old burdens, and experiencing the incredible journey of falling in love.
